Ventelo is a Scandinavian provider of data and telecom services. They also offer services to wholesale operators, who in turn sell preselect telephony subscriptions to households and small companies.
CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS
Ventelo needed a flexible service with short delivery time in order to close a deal with a switchless operator.
ALBATROSS SOLUTION
Our Access Screening and Call Barring services enable Ventelo’s switches to keep track of which subscriber (calling party number) is allowed to call with a specific switchless operator.
CUSTOMER BENEFITS
Initially our services enabled Ventelo to address a mass market through several switchless service providers. Ventelo could access large telephony volumes with a limited sales force, leading to better interconnection deals with other network operators.
We subsequently signed contracts for a number of customised services, uniquely adapted to the requirements of Venetolo.
