2001 - 2012
Albatross was originally called Inabler and changed name in April 2010, as part of a portfolio expansion beyond IN solutions.
Inabler was founded in March 2001. The ex-management team bought out the former owner in 2002 and in order to remain independent decided to operate without venture capital. This decision was based on long-term thinking, but to counter short term instability the company had to be run in an extremely cost efficient way. This is a working practice retained to the present day.
During 2003/4 revenues grew significantly as new customers signed contracts and existing ones expanded their business. The company has been profitable since 2003 and reinvests all profit into expanding system capacity (to meet growing traffic volumes) and improving service reliability.
